Are you perfect yet?  Working on it?  I certainly hope so; don’t wait until you get to Heaven to be perfected.  The Father is a lot more pleased if you get to it down here…and it is much easier here.  After all, you won’t have much to challenge you in Heaven.  You will have to sit under a group of perfected Saints and be taught…if you have been truly “born again…and it may take a long time.    The Bible definition of “perfection” is “the extreme degree of excellence.”  Jesus said, to “be perfect as our Father in Heaven”…Matt 5:48.  Jesus was teaching on love…giving to, and loving our fellow man.  Jesus also commands us to be complete or perfect in Him.

"When that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.  When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man (or woman), I put away childish things.  For now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face to face; now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."  I Cor 13:10-12.    It would follow that …if perfection has come in you, then now you do not see through a glass darkly but clearly.  Do you feel yourself seeing more and more clearly as you have grown in Him?  The more knowledge and wisdom of revelation you attain in Jesus, the cleaner and clearer that glass becomes!  How wonderful to see the world clearly with the eyes of God almighty!   Of course, sometimes you may not like what you see.  That is so sad.

Purple is a color of spiritual excellence in a lot of countries.  It was worn by the High Priest in the Tabernacle.  Ex 25:4    It also is a sign of riches and prosperity, Luke 16:19.  Purple was worn by royalty, …Jude 8:26. Ever heard of "royal purple?"

Being perfect in purple does not mean that we always do everything perfect.  It means that we have arrived at the point of excellence in our growth wherein we see clearly through that dark glass.  It means that we live our lives in love like our Father who gives rain to the just and the unjust.  It means that we live a life of walking upright before God.  All that is not faith is sin the Bible says, and I know that covers a lot of area.  But I also believe that if we know our righteousness, and walk after the Spirit, “to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God"…then we are free of sin.  Then our heart will not condemn us and we have faith toward God, our prayers are heard, and we have what we pray for (in the Will of God…and we know that it is His will to give us all good things pertaining to life and godliness).

Our heavenly Father desires to be worshipped in spirit and in truth.  Those who do the will of the Father and keep themselves from the evil one, living their lives free in Jesus and attaining to perfection are worshipping Him in spirit and in truth.  In their spirit and heart… following the Word of truth.  Jesus is truth.  “I am the way, the truth and the life…Jesus said,  no one comes to the Father but by me.”

Better be fitted for your white robe before you try on the purple.

       Ad infinitum, Jean Rae

How wonderful to see the world clearly with the eyes of God almighty!   Of course, sometimes you may not like what you see.  That is the sad part.
